The importance of a good hair conditioner is not exaggerated. Hair breakage, split ends, and frizz are all issues that happen when you don’t use one. Hair conditioner enters the cuticle to make it smooth, silky, and shiny. The chemicals used in conditioners, however, can cause excessive hair damage over time. It is extremely easy to make natural hair products with goods easily available and part of a person’s everyday life.

Some easy-to-make natural hair conditioners include the following natural ingredients:

1. Apple cider vinegar
The main ingredients for this recipe are apple cider vinegar and water in a bowl. This recipe is the simplest of them all. Two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar mixed in a bowl filled with two cups of water is all that is needed. Although the procedure to make this solution is simple, caution must be exercised while using it.

First and foremost, the hair of the person using it must be shampooed. Secondly, and most important of all, the solution must be applied to the tips of the hair and not the scalp. Thirdly, the hair must not be rinsed further to reap the benefits of apple cider vinegar. Subjecting apple cider vinegar to the scalp will render the natural hair product useless and may also make the hair rough. Apple cider vinegar contains acetic acid which can help to smoothen the hair. However, it is highly concentrated, which warrants the use of water to dilute the acid.

2. Yogurt hair conditioner
The components of this conditioner are eggs and yogurt (preferably plain yogurt). To prepare this, an egg yolk must be beaten into a bowl. Subsequently, at least six to seven tablespoons of yogurt must be added to the egg yolk. The resulting mixture, after mixing for a while, will result in a natural hair product. This conditioner can be directly applied on the head and left alone for 30 minutes. It can then be rinsed off with normal or lukewarm water.

The texture and density of yogurt makes it easy to mix. As it is a milk-based product, it contains lactic acid that can smoothen the hair and make it slightly silky. It also cleanses the scalp because of the high amount of protein content present in yogurt and eggs.

3. Aloe vera hair conditioner
For this hair conditioner, you need aloe vera gel and lemon juice. One tablespoon of lemon juice added to four to five tablespoons of aloe vera gel is considered to be ideal. This mixture can be applied directly onto the hair and massaged onto the scalp.

The most beneficial thing about this natural hair product is that it is a quick fix. If there is an urgent need to condition the hair, this product can be applied on the head and rinsed off within five minutes with lukewarm water.
