Breast cancer can be a severe disease. If the condition is not diagnosed early, then this condition can get aggressive. Several breast cancers can affect patients, and doctors need to determine the type of breast cancer a patient has to decide the treatment plan.
Mostly in all types of breast cancers, a malignant tumor is formed in the breast. These tumors can be found in several other types of cancers forming inside the glands or in the ducts that are responsible for secreting fluids. The breast adenocarcinomas are often formed in the lobules, the glands that produce milk or in the milk ducts.
The types of breast cancer can be divided into two main types: invasive and noninvasive.
In the invasive breast cancer type, the cells usually travel through the barriers of the breast tissue and reach the parts of the body while traveling through the bloodstream and lymph nodes.
In the noninvasive or in situ types of breast cancer, the cancerous limit themselves to a particular location instead of traveling to nearby tissues, lobules, or ducts.
1. Aggressive breast cancers
Certain types of breast cancers are relatively more aggressive than other types of cancer. To determine the aggressiveness of a patient’s condition, the doctors analyze their tumor and the cells using a microscope and then they allocate cancer a grade ranging between 1 and 3. On the scale, grade 3 cancer cells are considered to be highly aggressive. The most aggressive cancer cells identified as those cells which multiply very quickly, appear abnormal in comparison with other cells, and have already affected other parts of the body or might affect very soon.

Breast cancer in males is rare. Men develop this form of cancer when an unusual hard lump is found below the nipple or areola. There are cases of male breast cancer reported every year. One in only a thousand men can be diagnosed with this type of cancer. Just like it happens in women, men get breast cancer in the ducts of the breast region. Since men have fewer ducts than women, the instances of this cancer to form in men are rare. Survival rates for men are similar to those for women.
